Privacy Policy

GDPR · REG. (EU) 2016/679

1.1 Controller. This Privacy Policy describes how crisppageco, Silkeborgvej 14 Mackenzie, 1. tv, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark (“crisppageco”, “we”, “us”), processes personal data when you visit our website, contact us at [email protected], or engage our web design services.

1.2 Data we collect. We process identification and contact data you voluntarily provide through our contact form, email, or telephone: full name, email address, telephone number, company name, budget range, timeline, and the content of your project brief. We also process technical data collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, and referring page, through server logs and, where you consent, analytics cookies.

1.3 Purpose and legal basis. We process your data to respond to enquiries and take pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), to perform a signed agreement and deliver purchased services (Article 6(1)(b)), to comply with bookkeeping and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c)), to protect the security of our website (Article 6(1)(f)), and to send newsletters or analytics cookies only where you have given consent (Article 6(1)(a)).

1.4 Recipients. Personal data is shared only with processors that help us operate: our hosting provider, email provider, and accounting software, each bound by data processing agreements under Article 28 GDPR. We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal data to advertisers or brokers.

1.5 International transfers. We store data within the European Economic Area. If a processor operates outside the EEA, transfers are covered by an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

1.6 Retention. Enquiry records are retained for 24 months after our last contact. Contracts, invoices, and accounting records are retained for 5 years from the end of the financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

1.7 Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability of your data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights; we respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, Borgergade 28, 1300 Copenhagen.

1.8 Security. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — encrypted transport (HTTPS), access control, and pseudonymised backups — to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss.

Terms of Service

EFFECTIVE 01 OCT 2026

2.1 Parties and scope. These Terms govern all services provided by crisppageco, Silkeborgvej 14 Mackenzie, 1. tv, 8000 Aarhus C, to its clients (“Client”, “you”). Services include web design, front-end development, content migration, performance tuning, and related consultancy, as described in an individual written scope or statement of work agreed by email.

2.2 Quotations and formation. Prices quoted in our service menu or a custom proposal are fixed for the scope described and stated in the agreed currency. A contract is formed when you confirm the scope in writing (including by email) or pay the kickoff invoice, whichever occurs first. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it is undertaken.

2.3 Payment. Unless otherwise stated, 50% of the project fee is due on kickoff to reserve the build slot, and the remaining 50% is due before launch and handover. Invoices carry 8-day payment terms and are paid by bank transfer or the payment link supplied. Late payments accrue statutory default interest under the Danish Interest Act plus any reasonable recovery costs. Work may be paused if an invoice is more than 14 days overdue.

2.4 Delivery and turnaround. Turnaround periods start on the kickoff date and assume timely provision of content, feedback, and access by the Client. Each deliverable includes two rounds of revisions; additional rounds, or revisions that change the agreed scope, are billed at the hourly rate stated in the scope. Delayed Client feedback extends the delivery schedule by an equivalent period.

2.5 Intellectual property. Upon receipt of full payment, crisppageco assigns to the Client all worldwide rights in the Client-specific deliverables, including source code, layout files, and bespoke design assets. crisppageco retains ownership of pre-existing tools, snippets, libraries, and internal design systems, and grants the Client a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of the deliverables. Third-party assets (fonts, stock imagery, plugins) remain subject to their own licences.

2.6 Client responsibilities. You warrant that all materials you supply — text, images, trademarks, and data — are accurate and that you hold the rights needed for us to use them, and you remain responsible for reviewing deliverables before publication. We are not liable for claims arising from Client-supplied content.

2.7 Warranties and liability. We warrant that services are performed with reasonable skill and care. For 30 days after handover we will fix reproducible defects in the delivered work free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under an engagement is limited to the amount paid by you for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or any liability that cannot be limited under Danish law.

2.8 Termination. Either party may terminate an engagement for material breach that remains uncured 14 days after written notice. On termination you pay for work completed up to the termination date, and we hand over completed paid deliverables. Retainers may be cancelled with 30 days' notice at the end of any billing month.

2.9 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Aarhus, Denmark, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from any engagement with crisppageco.

Cookie Policy

ePRIVACY · GDPR

3.1 What cookies are. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, store information in your browser in the same way. This policy explains which of these crisppageco uses and why.

3.2 Strictly necessary storage. We use a single preference entry, crisppageco_cookie_consent, stored in your browser's localStorage when you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. It records only that you have acknowledged the notice. Its duration is until you clear your browser data, and it is not used for profiling. This storage is necessary to avoid repeatedly showing you the banner and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) and the Danish ePrivacy rules.

3.3 Optional analytics. If we enable privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics on this website, those cookies are set only after you give consent via the banner. You may refuse without any loss of functionality; the site remains fully usable either way. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by clearing your browser cookies or by emailing [email protected].

3.4 What we do not use. crisppageco does not set advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell cookie-derived data to third parties.

3.5 Managing cookies. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) at any time. Blocking strictly necessary storage means our cookie banner will reappear on every visit.

3.6 Updates and contact. We may update this Cookie Policy when our tools or legal obligations change; the revision date is shown in the Legal Center header. Questions about our use of cookies can be sent to crisppageco, Silkeborgvej 14 Mackenzie, 1. tv, 8000 Aarhus C, or to [email protected].

4.3 Cancellation after kickoff. If you cancel after work has started, you are invoiced for work completed up to the cancellation date at the rates stated in the approved scope. Any prepaid amount exceeding that completed-work value is refunded within 14 days. Work already delivered and accepted is non-refundable.

4.4 Defects and the 30-day fix window. If a reproducible defect exists in a delivered deliverable, notify us within 30 days of handover and we will correct it at no charge. If we fail to correct a material defect within a reasonable period after notification, you may request a refund of the portion of the fee attributable to that defective deliverable, which will be paid within 14 days of agreement.

4.5 Subscription care plans. Monthly care plans renew automatically and may be cancelled at any time before the next renewal date; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month and no further charges are made. If a care plan is cancelled mid-month at our initiative, unused prepaid days are refunded pro rata. Completed monthly work is non-refundable.

4.6 Statutory rights. For consumers resident in the European Economic Area, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right under EU distance-selling rules may apply to services ordered remotely. Where you exercise that right after work has begun with your express request, we charge a proportionate amount for the work performed up to the point of withdrawal, as permitted by law. Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot be waived.
